GORDON STUDIO GLASSBLOWERS
As one of the most internationally celebrated Art Glass families in Australia, the Gordon Studio Glassblowers in Red Hill, Victoria, present years of practice, infinite patience, and unique work to the world of Art Glass. Consisting of seven members across three generations, this family of engravers and glassblowers prove that glass has a continued importance within the modern canvas of artisan practice.
We were honoured to be approached to print their family book in 2025; a milestone production that captured the family’s 75-year love affair with glass to date; Blowing In A New Era: Three Generations, One Family. This 214-page hardback book tells the family story, across three generations, through stunning photographs of the glass art, and ‘In Conversation’ narrative against the backdrop of an ancient artform and poignant family anecdotes.
Material for this case-bound book is FSC® certified 148gsm Pacesetter Satin from @spicersaus with the cover printed on 170gsm over 2400um board.
